UFO seen over Neverland Ranch

Following Michael Jackson's surprising death last week, AllNewsWeb posted an article on Saturday that I suppose we all should have seen coming: An eyewitness reports seeing a 'glowing bright green light' hovering 'right over where Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch would stand'. Very little additional detail is provided, and so far it doesn't appear that any other eyewitnesses have come forward to corroborate the report. The article at AllNewsWeb does make some good points, actually, while even they seem a bit skeptical about the report they received.

New Voting Incentives!

Starting with today's update, and for the next four updates at least, if you click on the VoteWebComics banner there to the left and complete your vote for Ellie Connelly, you'll get to see a sneak preview from the NEXT update, but without text or colors. As I say, It's just a sneak. I'm not sure how long I'll be doing sneak previews like this as incentives to vote, but we'll see how it goes. It's a small thing, but voting for Ellie Connelly over at that site does help me to promote the comic a little bit. And every little bit helps!

Coloring Page 9 Live on Ustream!

Come watch me color page 9! I'll be coloring the whole page today, assuming there are no technical problems, and listening to my eclectic iTunes library. Make a request and I'll see if I can play it for you!

Page 8 Progress

Here's a photo I took yesterday of the pencils for page 8, with the lettering complete. I'm going to finish inking today, and possibly even start coloring it if I'm quick enough, otherwise I'll color it tomorrow. So, look for new updates starting next week! woo!

June 13th: Olympia Comics Festival

Hey, all:

Just a quick reminder that I'm heading up to Olympia this weekend for the Comics Festival there at the Vault at 425 Franklin St.

I'll be exhibiting with my old friend Chris Baldwin, and hanging out with my other good friends Erika Moen and Derek Kirk Kim. Come up and say 'hi!', and help yourself to some free Ellie Connelly 'Sweet Peaches!' buttons. I'll also be trying to do some quickie-portrait sketch cards. The show is from noon to 5 on Saturday. I hope to see you there!
